Group Home Administrator Training
McKinley is an approved vendor through Community Care Licensing to provide the 40-hour Group Home Initial Certification course. This course is required prior to being certified as a Group Home Administrator. McKinley is only one of a very few vendors in Southern California that offers this course. Topics covered include:
Rate Classification Level (RCL) System Child Care Pointing The Role of Various Regulatory Agencies Your Program Statement Your Duties as an Administrator The Role of Placement Agencies Services You Are Required To Provide Documentation/Charting Reporting Special Incidents Selecting and Managing Your Staff Legal Issues Children's Rights Physical Plant Issues Regulations That Apply to You
Course also includes tours of group home facility so that participants can visualize how to comply with regulations.
