Non-Public Schools

Overview

At McKinley Children’s Center, we understand the importance of an education and also know that some children need more attention than others in the classroom. Our Canyon View School and Desert View School are Western Association of Schools and Colleges accredited schools focused on providing an education to children with special needs. Our teachers are highly trained and educated, and use the latest technologies and honed learning methods to achieve great results in their classrooms. Students range in ages from 5 to 22, and each one is provided the best possible education.

Academic programs are in alignment with the California State Frameworks and Content Standards. Programs are designed to address the disability needs of the students and to challenge them at the same time.
